The problem with small business IT

Most traditional IT managed service provider (MSP) companies only offer expensive, one-size-fits-all “unlimited” support contracts. More often than not, small businesses don’t have the budget or need for such a high level of support. As a result, many small businesses simply don’t retain the services of an IT company at all.

Instead, they resort to a “break fix” approach to their technology: literally waiting until some critical part of the IT infrastructure breaks, and then scrambling to find someone to fix the problem – all while the computer network is DOWN.
