Business Network Troubleshoot and Security Audit

Service Details: Business client, on-site consult, on-site support
Problem and Request: Client needed help with network connection problems, printing, FileMaker Pro, backups, anti-virus, and access controls for staff members for a local dance studio.

Solution and Result: We started with fixing the immediate problems with the network and printer not working (changed from local/shared USB to networked printer, tested printing on all workstations). Consulted on securing data access controls, AV, email, and moving away from FileMaker Pro (unsupported Apple software) to a new line-of-business app based on current cloud technology. All important FMP files backed up to external hard drive. Recommended cancelling second Internet account to save money.
